Ec0PET yarns by The FilamentFactory

new trainees

Are you also concerned about the impact of plastic waste on our planet?
Then Ec0PET yarns are just what you need: an innovative solution that will take the sustainable industry by storm.

Ec0PET yarns can be made from either virgin polymer or recycled PES, such as PET bottles. In the latter case, it will reduce the amount of plastic waste in landfills and oceans and reduce the persistence of microplastics in our waters.

But the real breakthrough lies in the masterbatch developed by the company Ciclo. This biomimetic solution is added to PET-based products during manufacturing to enable biodegradability. The microorganisms in the masterbatch break down the PET polymer into molecules that can be utilized by bacteria and fungi in various environments such as wastewater treatment plants, soils and landfills. This technology can and will revolutionize the impact of PET products on the environment.

Not only is this solution environmentally friendly, but it also offers a viable alternative to traditional synthetic materials. They can be used to manufacture a range of products, whether for technical textiles but also for apparel applications.
Join us in saying goodbye to global plastic pollution and hello to a greener, cleaner world.
